About About Glynis Palazuelos
Raised in Los Angeles, Glynis traveled extensively to England as a child. While visiting the British Museum she became fascinated with ancient jewelry. After graduating from the UCLA Interior Design Program ,as a young adult, she found herself drawn to Mexico and moved there for five years. In Mexico she studied art, sang in restaurants, married, had children and traveled throughout the country. Upon her return to the States she landed a job as chief space frame archtitectural designer on the Biosphere II project. This is where she became fascinated with the concept of "Order in Chaos".
From Los Angeles she moved her two girls to Sun Valley Idaho to raise them in the mountians. There she practiced Architectural Design. After a time she moved down to Arizona where she was again drawn to her first love, Jewelry. She studied at the Mesa Art Center and studied with Michael Sturling. She was soon accepted into juried shows and was selling her pieces. Glynis now lives back in those beautiful mountains of Idaho where she hikes every day, connecting and being inspired by nature. Glynis feels strongly about keeping her jewelry as organic, as close to the elements that she can.
